Hahaha, the last urbanist meet-up I was at, an older fellow and a young guy and I were chatting and he was talking about being stationed in Alaska when he was in the army, decades ago, and he said something like “You haven’t been in the army in Alaska if you haven’t seen the donkey show.” And the young guy said “Does that involve a donkey and something that isn’t a donkey?” and the army guy goes “Ding ding ding, we have a winner!” (Also didn’t need to know that.)
Obit for the dealership founder, and it was indeed 1963.
