More on one of my favorite types of devices

Over at The Bulwark, I recently wrote about clock radios, with a photo I took of a model out of my personal collection. Yes, I collect these things, which are infinitely more interesting as a category over the decades than you’d think from the perfunctory plastic boxes that were produced as the device reached obsolescence in the early 2010s.
